Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Drive to Chitwan & Explore the Surroundings
Depart from Kathmandu after breakfast (7:00–8:00 AM) in a private vehicle. Transportation is arranged according to group size: car, jeep, minivan, coaster, or luxury bus. Scenic drive of 6–7 hours via the Prithvi Highway, passing hills, forests, villages, and river valleys along the Trishuli River. Optional short rafting stop available (additional charge). Stop en route for tea/coffee or to stretch your legs. Arrive in Chitwan, check in at the hotel, meet your local nature guide, and enjoy lunch. Afternoon guided walking tour through nearby villages and the park surroundings, ending at a sunset viewpoint. Evening traditional Tharu cultural show with music and dance. Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Day 2: Safari in Chitwan National Park
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning jeep or elephant safari to observe wildlife such as rhinos, tigers, deer, and monkeys in their natural habitat. Jeep safari recommended for broader park coverage. Return to hotel for lunch. Afternoon boat (canoe) safari along the river to spot crocodiles, birds, and aquatic wildlife, followed by a guided walking safari. Visit the elephant breeding center to learn about conservation efforts. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 3: Bird Watching & Drive Back to Kathmandu
Early morning bird watching tour before breakfast to spot over 500 species of birds in the park. Return to hotel for breakfast. Drive back to Kathmandu, enjoying scenic views along the Prithvi Highway. Drop-off at your hotel, concluding the Chitwan Jungle Safari. Meals: Breakfast
